Square wire mesh is either woven or welded. Galvanized square opening mesh woven or welded can be both made Galvanized after manufacture ( Galvanized after welded, Galvanized after woven) or before. But they offers different features and is used in different fields.

Woven suqare hole wire mesh is made with weaving looms by round or crimped wire into a square opening fabric. Welded square hole mesh is made with welding machine by round or pre-crimped wire into a firm square opening grid.
Different Applications
Square Hole Woven Wire Mesh made of round wire is extensively used as industrial hardware cloth, window netting or sifting screen. Woven Square Mesh made with pre-crimped wire is ideal high tensile screening fabric for mine and quarry screen.
Square woven wire cloth is supplied in a general range of 3 mesh to 60mesh. 14x14mesh, 16x16mesh, 18x18mesh, 20meshx20mesh wire cloth is commonly used as window and insect screening fabric. Thicker wire and big opening woven wire ( 2x2 mesh to 8x8mesh) is mostly used for vibrating / sifting screening. Fine mesh cloth is mostly used as filter mesh or hardware cloth.
Square hole wire mesh welded is mainly used in fencing, animal cage mesh and construction reinforcement.
