Choosing Wire Diameters for Wire Ropes:
Commonly the thick the wire for galvanized wire ropes, the higher strength and the bigger loading capacity the wire ropes offer. Steel wire ropes in 10mm and 8mm are mainly used for auxilary lift elevators, wire ropes of wire 12mm and 13mm, 16mm are for most elevator hoisters in shopping malls and other places for cargo loading.

8*19 constructon wire ropes are mostly used in hoist ropes.
Choosing finishes for Galv. wire ropes:
Hot dipped galvanized wire ropes offering superior corrosion resistance;
Electro galvanized wire ropes
supplied at less cost compared with hot dip galvanized one.
